What is Facial Enhancement Acupuncture?

Facial Enhancement Acupuncture, otherwise known as Cosmetic Acupuncture, is a growing trend amongst people searching for a natural anti-ageing therapy. It is used in preference to injecting harsh and potentially harmful chemicals into the body.

It is a non-invasive, gentle, safe and natural anti-ageing treatment which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, whilst also improving the skin tone and increasing the production of collagen. This is done using very fine acupuncture and intradermal needles to improve the blood circulation and to stimulate cell re-growth.

Needles are also used on other areas of the body to address any blockages, which then allows energy to circulate properly around the face and body. This improves the body's overall balance and helps to bring blood and oxygen to the surface enhancing its appearance.

Who can FEA help?

FEA is suitable for those with fine lines, wrinkles or sagging and tired looking skin. Anyone wishing to improve their skin's overall appearance could benefit from a course of treatment.

If you have received Botox injections, it is recommended that you wait 3 months after the treatment before receiving FEA. This treatment is not recommended during pregnancy. If you have any heart disorders, diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, suffer from migraine headaches or are prone to bleeding or bruising the treatment is not recommended.
